Bangkok’s riverside skyline gained a new landmark in July. Tory Burch marked the opening of its flagship at ICONSIAM with a party. It felt less like a store launch, and more like an invitation to summer itself.

The boutique is the first Rodeo-concept flagship the American house has brought to Southeast Asia. It’s a clear signal. The label is investing seriously in the region’s appetite for considered, well-made luxury.

To extend the celebration, Tory Burch took over Nómada Bangkok for an evening. They called it the Splash Club. The party was built entirely around the optimism of an East Coast summer. It also marked the introduction of the brand’s new Splash collection, to a room full of editors, KOLs, VICs and friends of the house.

The transformation was thorough. A blue palette rippled through every corner of the venue, from the welcome area to the poolside. Translucent jelly-toned lounge chairs and pillows caught the light. They looked like something just pulled from the water.

Blue-and-white striped life preservers bobbed in the pool itself. It was a playful nod to vintage nautical style, and it set the tone for the night. Local DJ KADE kept the energy afloat. Guests sipped Splash-themed popsicles, lollipops and cocktails, each one leaning fully into the poolside fantasy.

Beyond the styling, the evening was built for participation. A DIY station invited guests to colour their own white fans. Each one was stamped with the house’s medallion logo. A pair of bright blue ping pong tables, finished with a vintage swimmer graphic, turned the courtyard into an impromptu games room.

Polaroid photography added a final touch. Each shot came framed in custom Tory Burch borders. It gave every guest a tactile memento, the kind of detail that tends to outlast the party itself.

Representing the brand was ambassador Song Yuqi. She arrived in a sequined dress that caught the evening light. It was paired with the Charlie Embossed Snake Small Shoulder Bag, a combination that balanced the party’s playful mood with a touch of red-carpet polish.

Friends of the house Lorena Lalina and Keng Harit rounded out the front row. Lalina wore a knit ensemble, carrying the Mellow Clear Shoulder Bag. Harit opted for the Charlie Shoulder Bag in black.

Among the regional guests was Indonesian singer and actress Naura Ayu. She brought her own interpretation of the evening’s mood, in a printed silk top and skirt. She finished the look with the Charlie Beaded Small Shoulder Bag. It felt every bit as considered as the collection it referenced — a reminder of how far the house’s reach across Southeast Asia now extends.

Between the flagship’s arrival and the party built to celebrate it, Tory Burch’s Bangkok moment did what a good summer party should. It made a serious piece of retail news feel like an afternoon spent poolside. And it never lost sight of the occasion behind it.
