Ever wondered if you could experience the many charms of Singapore, all in one location? The answer lies in Resorts World Sentosa, aptly dubbed RWS 2.0 after its expansion was first announced in 2019.
RWS 2.0 itself is a 49-hectare integrated resort located within Sentosa Island, bringing together world-class attractions, luxury hotels, dining, entertainment and lifestyle experiences under one destination. Within this single integrated resort, travellers are able to move seamlessly between attractions, stays, dining, and leisure throughout their visit.
What exactly is the difference between the “original” RWS and RWS 2.0? The idea lies behind the intention to design the resort in such a way that encourages travellers to stay longer and discover more.
In this space, you can choose the type of day you want to have based on the activities: whether it’s fun family adventures at Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore and Singapore Oceanarium, a leisurely stroll along WEAVE, a new lifestyle destination, or a luxurious stay at The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort. These new additions to the resort bring different dimensions of the RWS experience to life, which in turn, enhances your experience even more.
Aside from Minion Land with its three themed areas consisting of attractions, dining, entertainment, and merchandise inspired by the Despicable Me and Minions franchises and Singapore Oceanarium which combines live habitats, ocean stories, digital innovation and interactive technology, another key addition to the resort is WEAVE.
At this design-forward lifestyle destination, you can find first-to-market concepts including Pierre Hermé Paris (recently named the World’s Best Pastry Shop by La Liste 2026), Moutarde and Sundae Royale by Michelin-starred Chef Paul Pairet, and Dopamine Land, as well as Southeast Asia’s first POP BAKERY by POP MART, WeWa (a halal-certified Middle Eastern street food concept), and Starbucks’ first Bearista inspired store in Southeast Asia.
At the end of a long day, you also do not have to worry about being too exhausted to find your way back to your accommodation since RWS offers a diverse collection of options, including Crockfords Tower, Equarius Hotel, Equarius Villas, Hotel Michael, Hotel Ora, and the newest addition, The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort.
Opened in October 2025, The Laurus is Singapore’s first The Luxury Collection branded property and comprises 183 all-suite accommodations, and designed as a home away from home where heritage, nature, and luxury converge.
