TAG Heuer and Formula 1 Grand Prix have maintained a close relationship over the years. So close, in fact, that next year marks the third time the Maison has partnered with Formula 1 Grand Prix––this time for the Formula 1 TAG Heuer British Grand Prix 2027, following the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco (title partner in 2025) and the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Gran Premio de España in Madrid (title partner in 2026).
TAG Heuer has a longstanding connection with motorsport and serves as an iconic fixture on the Formula 1 calendar. Indeed, the Maison has an established history in Formula 1, often at the heart of the sport’s most defining moments, manifested through its timekeeping and expertise.
This connection has strengthened over the years, from influential partnerships made with Scuderia Ferrari and McLaren leading to a decade-long relationship with Oracle Red Bull Racing to the connection with the greatest drivers in the sport including Ayrton Senna and Max Verstappen.
The question is, why specifically Silverstone this time? As it turns out, Silverstone holds a special place in the history of the Maison: in 1974 the Heuer Monaco would be superseded by Heuer Silverstone, a new automatic chronograph design that retained the square form of the Monaco but softened the edges and featured hooded lugs to further refine the form.
Available with blue, fumé and red dials, it became a legend of the era and was worn by celebrated drivers including the Swiss pilot Clay Regazzoni during his time with Ferrari.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2027 marks a new chapter in this decades-long relationship, bringing TAG Heuer’s racing spirit to the location that has a significant history for the company.
Additionally, along with Formula 1’s return to Silverstone, TAG Heuer will strengthen its presence in the UK even more, bringing together its passion for motorsport, its Swiss watchmaking expertise, and its commitment to pushing performance beyond limits.
