Sun-soaked coastlines, vibrant cultural roots, and a Mediterranean lifestyle have long put the South of France on the map as one of fashion’s enduring summer and cruisewear references. This season, AMI Paris taps into that spirit with Ami d’Été, a ready-to-wear collection built around airy fabrics and relaxed silhouettes. Inspired by the carefree atmosphere of the French Riviera, the collection reflects the understated charm that has become synonymous with the Parisian label.

The release of Ami d’Ete itself coincides with AMI Paris’s 15th anniversary. Among the pieces is a royal-blue T-shirt from the Thank You For Being a Friend capsule, featuring a message from founder Alexandre Mattiussi to those who have supported the brand over the years. The gesture feels particularly fitting given the collection’s name. Translating to “summer friend”, Ami d’Été speaks to the sense of camaraderie at the heart of the brand, a sentiment that Mattiussi extends to the friends, collaborators, and supporters who have accompanied AMI Paris since its launch in 2011.

The clothing follows a similarly relaxed approach. Linen shirts, workwear jackets, cotton shorts, and  elasticated Bermudas set the tone, while flowing skirts, vintage-inspired polos, and easy trousers bring a softer dimension to the offering. Nothing feels overly styled or polished. Instead, the collection favours staple pieces reworked for warmer days, whether spent in the city, by the sea, or somewhere in between.

Stripes, checks, and oversized polka dots introduce a playful contrast to the collection’s clean lines. While nautical shades of red, blue, white, and black anchor the palette alongside touches of beige, green and grey that lend a softer finish. Accessories receive a similarly considered treatment. Besides statement jewellery and sunglasses, AMI Paris introduces a selection of leather goods designed with everyday use in mind.

The Étienne crossbody bag arrives in supple leather rendered in black and taupe, while the Carrousel bag offers a more sculptural alternative through its smooth black cow leather construction. Completing the catalogue are bright red caps embroidered with the AMI logo, injecting a playful burst of colour into an otherwise understated wardrobe. Like the clothing itself, the accessories feel designed for a slower summer pace, balancing function with a distinctly effortless sense of style.

Also returning this season is the Mirage sneaker, which has become a signature within the AMI Paris footwear line. Inspired by classic running shoes, the style combines a lightweight construction with technical detailing and subtle house signatures, including the Heart Friend emblem. Rooted in Riviera influences yet unmistakably Parisian in character, Ami d’Été demonstrates that the most compelling summer wardrobes are often the simplest.
