For the discerning golfer, the round rarely ends at the final green. It lingers in the quiet moments that follow: the change of shoes, the warmth of a shower, the pause before stepping back into the world. Riverside Golf Club, part of AYANA Hotels & Resorts, understands this rhythm intimately, and its newly unveiled Male and Female Locker Rooms reflect exactly that philosophy.
A Design Language of Warmth and Restraint
Following a three-month renovation, Riverside Golf Club now presents a Male Locker Room with 250 lockers and a Female Locker Room with 42, each conceived in a minimalist palette of earth tones. Timber panelling, soft ambient lighting and clean geometric lines create an atmosphere that feels less like a changing room and more like a private retreat, one designed to help players prepare for the course, and just as importantly, unwind from it.
Amenities Built for the Complete Golfing Ritual
Practicality meets comfort throughout. Each locker room is secured by a card-access system, alongside shower rooms, prayer facilities and washrooms. The Male Locker Room further includes a dedicated sauna for post-round relaxation, while both spaces are stocked with a full suite of grooming essentials: sunscreen, body lotion, hair care, cotton buds, hairdryers and combs, ensuring golfers can transition effortlessly from fairway to onward engagements.
A Reflection of Riverside’s Broader Hospitality Vision
“We understand that the golfing experience isn’t shaped by the course alone, but by every facility that supports our players throughout their time at Riverside Golf Club,” said Rusminingsih, Marketing Manager at Riverside Golf Club. “This renovation reflects our commitment to more modern, comfortable and functional spaces, in line with the standard of hospitality we continue to bring to every guest.”
The refreshed locker rooms mark another step in Riverside’s pursuit of a more holistic standard of service, extending well beyond a place to change, into a considered part of the golfer’s lifestyle, from pre-game preparation to post-round recovery.
Set along the Cikeas River in Bogor, Riverside Golf Club’s 18-hole, par-72 championship course was designed by golf legend Greg Norman, and remains one of Indonesia’s most celebrated tropical golfing destinations.
