Aman Group has appointed Victor Clavell as Chief Operating Officer, adding more than three decades of luxury hospitality expertise to its senior leadership. Based at Aman’s Swiss corporate office, Clavell will report directly to Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin.
The appointment comes as Aman Group continues to expand across hotels, resorts, branded residences and lifestyle ventures. In his new role, Clavell will oversee global operations, with a focus on guest experience, consistency and financial performance across the Group.
A Career Shaped by Luxury Hospitality
Victor Clavell brings extensive international experience across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. His career has included senior leadership positions with The Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, EDITION, W Hotels, Rosewood and Urban Resort Concepts.
His most recent position was Chief Executive Officer of Urban Resort Concepts in Hong Kong. There, he led the repositioning and global expansion of The PuLi Group across hospitality, residences and retail.
Before joining Urban Resort Concepts, Clavell served as Senior Vice President & Managing Director, EMEAC at Rosewood Hotel Group. He oversaw a rapidly growing region and led the profitable turnaround of its European and Middle Eastern portfolio.
This breadth of experience has taken Clavell across different markets, brands and areas of luxury hospitality. His new position at Aman Group brings that operational perspective to a company continuing to develop its global presence.
Supporting Aman Group’s Growth
As COO, Clavell will work closely with Doronin to support Aman Group’s continued expansion. His responsibilities will span the Group’s brands, properties and business units, including Janu, alongside its growing portfolio of hotels, resorts and branded residences.
The role also places operational excellence at the centre of Aman’s next phase. Clavell will be responsible for ensuring consistency across the Group while maintaining the standards associated with its luxury guest experience.

Doronin welcomed Clavell to the leadership team, citing his global expertise, operational discipline and understanding of luxury hospitality. He also pointed to Clavell’s experience in elevating brand performance, managing complex multi-market portfolios and delivering transformative results.
